Strawman Theme
Straw-Man, Straw-Man,
Burns whatever straw he can.
Strikes a match, any size,
Burns and deceives when he fries.
Look Out! Here comes the Straw-Man.
Is he wrong? Listen bud,
He’s got intentional ignorance blood.
Can he start with a thread?
Smell the burn around your head.
Hey, there! There goes the Straw-Man.
In the chill of the write,
At the scene he’s the crime,
Like a spark in the night,
Starts a flame just in time!
Straw-Man, Straw-Man,
“Friendly” fallacy Straw-Man.
Words and banter, let’s ignore
Flaming is his reward.
To him,
Truth is a great big hang up,
Whenever there’s a burn up,
You’ll find the Straw-Man!
This song is dedicated to all of the theological straw men written around the blogosphere. It was inspired by those very straw men along with my favorite comic book character theme song, Spider-Man. I hope you enjoy it.
Will you be the next Peter Parker?
Mark
p.s. I guess a bad headache and some comments to JT’s much appreciated post also played a part in my writing this song.

Hahaha! JM, this is great! I never knew you had such talent.
Kinda has a hitch to it when you sing StrawwawMan. But still a great song.
You know you’re online too much when…
