What do 700+ scienctists have in common? They’ve all signed the Scientific Dissent From Darwinism list.
Who gets to sign the list?
Signers of the Scientific Dissent From Darwinism must either hold a Ph.D. in a scientific field such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or one of the other natural sciences; or they must hold an M.D. and serve as a professor of medicine. Signers must also agree with the following statement:
“We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged.”
There is also the group: Physicians and Surgeons for Scientific Integrity (PSSI). This group has been around since 2006 and from a quick eye-balling looks to have 900+ members.
Their position?
As medical doctors we are skeptical of the claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the origination and complexity of life and we therefore dissent from Darwinian macroevolution as a viable theory. This does not imply the endorsement of any alternative theory.
I wonder why we don’t hear more publicly from these organizations. It seems like these organizations could open the door for dialogue in universities and such. These folks would seem especially useful in places like those shown in the movie Expelled where people were fired from dissenting as such.
For what it’s worth…

Great post Mark — that is one of the big facts we need to get out there, how there are many scientists who reject Darwinism.
God bless,
Ken
darwin theory is just a tale story nothing more
