The above plate was hand-carved by my wife’s Uncle Rodger McKinney, a retired minister on disability. He made my wife and I a beautiful plate for our wedding day. He also made one for our daughter’s high school graduation which was a hit with all of her friends.
He has made plates as well as other types of carvings. Below is an example of a custom plate he made for one church.
