Dot, I made a brief comparison chart in this post showing that the basic beliefs between Mormonism and Christianity are not the same. They actually define who God is differently.

I’m not sure what you mean by negativity. Is it not negativity to come here and tell me how not to do something by way of telling me what to do?

The only way to serve those less fortunate as a Christian is to not give anyone a false hope via a false gospel which comes from the false god of Mormonism. Joseph Smith himself did not stand with the Protestants of his time as if everyone was one big happy family.

Please understand that Mormons believe in one God, one Jesus Christ and one Holy Ghost. We are all Heavenly Father’s children…he loves us all equally. I believe that you would better serve your Father in heaven by service to those less fortunate and not by negativity.

Entered twice.

First because I think James White gives every topic his full attention and can be assured that it is thourough. I know with White’s past witnessing in Utah that he understands the topic and will not be caught up in all the wierd things about the mormons (magic underwear) but will deal with it with scripture.
Second I have wondered the question before and while I dont believe they are I would like to hear another opinion. I also think it would help in witnessing to the LDS that come to our door.
