Want to Help Over 200 Children?

The life of a child is priceless, but helping children is not free.

Sandy Springs Mission helps over 200 children year round and they need your help!

The Mission helps kids in grades 1-12 through their After School Program, Life Skills Program and Summer Camps. These enrichment programs help many at-risk students from low-income families living in Sandy Springs, GA. The Mission, with your support, will give these young people help they might not otherwise receive.

The Mission changes kids’ lives and helps them succeed.

Mission volunteers help the kids: increase self-confidence, improve grades, and keep them working toward their diplomas. The Mission also focuses on minimizing school drop-outs by directly assisting in the following areas:

  • homework
  • reading
  • writing
  • math
  • communication

Of most importance – the gospel!

The Mission is an evangelical, gospel-driven organization. The driving force behind all of the Mission’s work in the community is its biblical foundation. Volunteers often share the gospel and their own testimonies with the children. A weekly chapel service gives the children biblical teaching and a chance to hear the gospel. The Mission’s summer camps also include Bible study.

Full disclosure: The Mission needs your help, but…

Felix, the Executive Director, walking with some of the children.

I have to let you know that golf is involved. ‘The money you give to help the Mission will help someone play in the Sandy Springs Mission 5th Annual Golf Challenge on August 27, 2012.

Golfing for donations may sound odd, but the 2011 golf challenge raised over $27,000 net through donations just like yours. Every single donation, both large and small, kept the Mission going through 2012.

There are actually two ways you can help – ready?

First, you can help by praying. Everyone can pray for the Mission. Second, you can donate or pledge a donation using the form below.

Whether you give or not – please pray! Pray that God will continue using the Mission to help all the kids they can.

Now, if you would like to give to the Sandy Springs Mission please fill-out the form below. Or if you have any further questions please give me a shout via my Contact Page.

Thanks for your consideration.

In Christ,

Mark

P.S. I forgot to mention – All donations are tax deductible! (Sorry, Uncle Sam.)

P.P.S. All donations or pledges for the 2012 golf challenge are due by August 27th.
