Black Friday: Depravity on Display

The above image of Black Friday headlines are from Drudge Report. They show violence, theft and ridicule – all over trying to buy stuff at a better price. Funny, all of those people can live without the stuff they are fighting over. They did not have any of those things on Thursday, the day before the Black Friday emotional and physical plight for stuff began.

Thankfully, not everyone who shops on Black Friday are part of those headlines.

There is nothing wrong with having more stuff in the right perspective. Sure, there are a few things I’d like to have that I can live without. Personally, I can certainly live without all of the Black Friday melee. And I’ve been doing so for a long time.

To each their own.

So how was your Black Friday?

A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the LORD will be enriched.
(Proverbs 28:25 ESV)

I spent it grading papers. I do all my shopping on line. Nuff said.
