National Protest Planned Parenthood Day Marietta, GA with Dr. Alveda King

On the morning of August 22, 2015, my wife and I attended the National Protest Planned Parenthood Day in Marietta, GA. We had a mixture of around 600-700 people. I jumped on Periscope and recorded live video on the scene and captured Dr. Alveda King  speaking. Dr. King spoke against abortion and in favor of defunding Planned Parenthood. A couple of pro-Planned Parenthood folks slipped in with their signs behind King while she was speaking. This gave King a chance to address those folks, share her story about her two abortions, and set the record straight about her uncle, Martin Luther King, Jr., receiving the Margaret Sanger Award in 1966.

This is a powerful event indeed. First, I ‘m grateful for the many who are Pro Life and bold enough to take a stand for the life of those precious lives inside the womb, waiting to share their life with the rest of the world. Yes, I am Pro Life and I applaud Dr. Alveda King’s courage to share her story of her abortions and I like her remark regarding regret having an abortions. She is living proof that we are not a lump of blob. From the day of conception, we are a living human being, formed by the mighty hands of God. In Him we live, move and have our being. (Acts 17:28).

To those in planned parenthood who say we are such, my question is; how does a piece of blob turn into a living being? At what point does that bold of tissue become life? You see; it is impossible for this to occur because life is living, moving, growing, developing into a beautiful girl or boy who God has need of. Before we are formed, God has a plan and purpose for every life. (Jeremiah 1:5; 29:11). Every life is precious in the sight of God. I stand in agreement to defund Planned Parenthood. No, I don’t hate them, but; I wouldn’t want my tax dollars going to support an organization who doesn’t fight for the life of the unborn. The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy. I come that they may have life and have it abundantly. ( John 10:10). That opening prayer was heartwarming and ministered to me profoundly.
