Thankful Lord, I am thankful for so many things. You gave me new life of which my soul now sings. I am closer to going home with each breath. On my final day – eternal life through your death. Thankful Lord, I am thankful for so many things. I can trust you each day no matter what trouble it brings. When I am overcome and my soul in despair. You do not let me go Your saving hand is there. It’s The Hurt That Counts Marie Paule Thielle of Metz, France, who is only 3 years old, has received the Bronze Medal for “an act of courage and dangerous sacrifice.” But the one she rescued does not like her. The story: When Marie’s playmate, two-year-old Denis fell into the municipal pool, she grabbed him by the hair and held his head out of the water until her screams for help were answered. Giving Thanks

O Lord, remember not, How I once stood. Before mine own reflection, Worshiping what I thought was good. Long did I look, For life’s answers I sought. Only emptiness grew, Only death was I taught.
